Mental illness can feel like a stain. This project is about embracing imperfection and the change that comes with it.
In March 2016, I, Nathan Boroyan, was hospitalized at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts, during a manic episode. I was 26, stressed from work, and addicted to amphetamines. I was later diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Since then I've been slowly rebuilding my life from the ground up. NK BLOTS is about starting a business around the changes required to improve my mental health.
